Recode editor Katie Couric: ‘I think the first rule of the office is to be as public as possible’

Recode Editor Katie Courico has a message for people who are worried about the spread of workplace bias: be as open as you can.

In an interview with Recode, the “First 100 Days” host and “This Week” host laid out what she considers to be the first 100 days of the Trump administration.

Her goal: to create a climate where “people feel like they have a voice in the workplace.”

The message: “I think it’s important for everybody to feel like a part of that conversation.

Because that is where our power and our power as women is.”

In the interview, Couric says she has “a lot of hope” in the coming months, and she hopes the next few months will be more productive.

The “First 500 Days” show airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
