Vintage fashion icon Tomboy has been the source of some of the most memorable office wear in the past year.
It was also one of the first brands to take a serious interest in fashion trends.
“I’m a tomboy and I wear dresses.
I’ve got a long neck, so my style is more conservative,” said Tomboy’s Lauren Wertman.
In the years since, the company has been seen in fashion shows, movies and other venues.
Its signature line, Tomboy Pomp, has been on sale in stores since 2015.
A spokesperson for the company said Tomboys clothing was developed in a relaxed and non-threatening way.
They have always been about the wearer and their own personal style, she said.
Tomboys fashion and accessories were designed to give people more choices than ever before.
While the company’s business is still relatively small, they have been able to bring in a ton of attention from big brands like Victoria’s Secret and Stella McCartney.
So how did Tomboys get started?
Tobias Schulz, a designer who founded Tomboys in 2016, has said the company was started by his brother who is a designer.
The idea of a tomboys shop came about after he had seen an ad in the magazine Clutch magazine for a dress made by his sister, she told New York magazine.
“My brother thought, ‘Oh wow, that’s amazing, this would be the perfect outlet for me’,” he said.
“We’ve been doing it for about six years now, but it’s definitely something we’re passionate about and something we think will make a difference.”
It was not always the case, however.
After the first season of Fashion Police, Mr Schulz told ABC News that there were issues with the business.
“[The fashion police] was a huge success, and we did great, but then we saw some of our clients were getting really frustrated,” he said, referring to some of their clients being told they couldn’t wear Tomboys clothes because of its “tomboys” label.
“It’s been really hard to deal with the backlash from fashion police,” he told New Yorker.
His brother, who is also a fashion designer, said the decision to change the name to Tomboys came after he became a more confident fashion designer.
“I’ve been so comfortable with the name, but when I decided to move forward, I realized there were still a lot of people who didn’t know that it’s a tomboya, and that we’re actually talking about a lot more than that,” he added.
When Fashion Police premiered in 2016 and went viral, Mr Stulz and his brother were not happy with the reaction.
“There was this idea that I’m this little tomboy, I’m not dressing for fashion, that I should wear a dress,” he explained.
“And my brother said, ‘Well, you’re going to be the first person wearing that dress, so just wear it’.”
So we did, and the backlash was quite positive, but we didn’t feel we were taking any risks.
We thought we were just going to make a cool dress.
“When we saw Fashion Police go global, we were like, ‘We need to have more options.'”
“It was a lot harder for the brands, because they were getting so much attention from people saying, ‘I don’t know if I want to wear Tomboy clothes, but you can’t dress that way because it’s tomboy’,” he added, referring the backlash to Tomboy.
‘I feel like I’m the most tomboy I know’One of the big issues Tomboys faced with the fashion police backlash was that some of its clients didn’t want to dress Tomboys.
“They didn’t have that idea that we were actually talking to a whole other group of people,” he recalled.
“So they would dress Tomboy, and then we would look at the feedback and say, ‘This is just going too far.
This is not acceptable.
This dress looks so inappropriate’.””

Tomboy is one of many brands in fashion that have been on a mission to become more inclusive and inclusive of the LGBT community.
On Tuesday, they launched a campaign to help promote LGBT-inclusive clothing and accessories.
